As a second-generation leader, he blends decades of family expertise with a forward-thinking approach, championing the integration of AI and automation into client operations to improve efficiency and security. Joe is deeply committed to LME's mission of practical, plain-English technology guidance, working closely with small and mid-size businesses, law firms, and financial services companies. Leon Engelking is the Founder of LME Services, having launched the company in 1994 after a career at IBM during the early rise of Microsoft and personal computing. Recognizing an underserved population of business owners who needed dependable, practical IT support as internet adoption emerged, Leon built LME from the ground up to meet that need. Over more than three decades, he guided the company through major technology shifts, including ransomware growth, cloud computing adoption, and the transition to remote work. His vision established LME's family-run culture and its commitment to long-term client relationships throughout Chicagoland. Leon's legacy continues to shape the company's values of security-first operations and dedicated, personalized service for small and mid-size businesses across the region.
