Joe Engelking, CEO
As CEO, I focus on bringing the same quality of service that my father started way back in 1994.
I love learning new technology and helping our clients improve their business operations.
On the IT side, we create systems that empower our clients and their teams to to their best work and love the tools that serve them.
On the Cybersecurity side, our job is to help our clients avoid the horror stories that cause so much stress, lost revenue, and worse for businesses who neglect to secure our systems.

After working in the corporate world at IBM and in the early days of Microsoft, I saw an underserved population of business owners needing what would come to be called “IT Services.”
LME started in the Chicagoland area, helping companies solve local technology issues back when internet adoption was just coming to life.
Over the years, our business developed a reputation not just for the quality of service but for the way we provide it.
Even though we’re “IT guys” and get 5-star review for the technical side of our work, our clients also enjoy working with us.

At LME I focus on identifying and evaluating companies that could benefit from our expertise.
I love analyzing financial statements, client operations, and service offerings to assess the viability or partnerships and have even overseen business acquisitions.
By negotiating deal structures that mitigate risk and ensure a smooth transition, I work to collaborate with our clients.
My role requires a deep understanding of IT service models, including managed services, break-fix support, and consulting, to strategically align acquisitions with our business objectives.

I love to learn, design, and implement business changing technology.
At LME I have grown into a role that focuses on driving business operations and increased efficiency.
I work with networking, servers, cloud platforms, and security systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. My role involves troubleshooting complex technical issues, optimizing infrastructure, and deploying new technologies that enhance productivity and security.
By staying up to date with industry trends, I continuously improve system architectures and recommend strategic upgrades that align with business objectives.
