Leon Engelking took his corporate IT skills to the market directly as LME Services back in 1994 when the internet was still dial-up and America Online hadn’t even gotten traction yet.
Cybersecurity wasn’t even really an issue in the early days.
Modern systems have a lot more bells and whistles but all the foundational elements that keep servers humming were already in place back then.
