Every typed in a search term on Google and wondered how to search for web pages based on their creation date?
If I’m searching for “the best website of 2017” and I get articles from 2015, doesn’t that kind of….suck
The answer is yes, it does suck.
But… there is a way to easily adjust your searches so that you will only get content created in the time frame that you dictate.

How to search for web pages based on their creation date in Google
After you search for something, right below the search field you will see a couple of categories, All, News, Images, etc. All the way to the right you will see “Tools”, this button will let you choose the time frame for which you want for your ontent results
How to search for web pages based on their creation date in Bing
After you search for something, right below the search field you will see a couple of categories, All, Images, Videos, etc. Below that you will see the amount of results and “Any Time”, this “Any Time” button will let you choose the time frame for which you want for your content results
How to search for web pages based on their creation date in Yahoo
After you search for something, right below the search field you will see a couple of categories; All, Images, Videos, etc. To the right of those choices you will see “AnyTime”, this “AnyTime” button will let you choose the time frame for which you want for your content results
You will notice that Bing calls it Any Time while Yahoo calls in Anytime. It’s the same search function so one of them must be using it wrong, right?
Any Time is a preposition so…
