Client: Hayes Properties | Industry: Property Management
Hayes Properties, a property management company, had IT operations neglected by their previous provider — old servers, limited remote access, aging computers, and outdated communication systems.
The Challenge
- Modernize operations end to end: computers, email, network, and phones.
- Make remote work genuinely practical for property management staff working across sites.
- Move core systems off aging on-premise servers and into the cloud.
The Solution
- Migrated data from on-premise servers to SharePoint and set up OneDrive backup on every computer.
- Rolled out new laptops with docking stations and dual monitors, connected to the Office 365 cloud.
- Enabled 2FA on every email account and installed Meraki Wi-Fi with separate office and guest networks.
- Migrated phone service to a 3CX VOIP system and upgraded the firewall to a Cisco MX75 with packet monitoring.
- Added backup internet, 24×7 SOC-monitored endpoint detection, and Privilege Access Management for software installs.
The Results
All data and systems became accessible from anywhere. Removing on-premise servers and the domain controller cut maintenance costs while improving security, giving Hayes Properties a modern, secure IT infrastructure their team could use from any location.
